‘Tis the Season

Well all good things come to an end don’t they? My bonus week off work due to the snow is over and I’m back at school. It’s funny how I’m now just moaning about the snow and ice when I was so excited about it when it gave me bonus inky sessions last week; it’s not so fun when you have to drive in it when it’s minus 18 degrees Celsius – eek!

So lemme try and warm things up a little with a Christmas card:

Tis the Season

I think this kinda feels warm. Is it vintage? Is it CAS? I’ve no idea! But it certainly warms me a little in this freezing weather!

Well it well and truly ‘tis the season and although I spent last weekend making so many Christmas cards, I’m yet to buy a single present! Don’t tell anyone though; everyone is under the impression that I’m organised. Little do they know that their gifts will probably be bought from a petrol station on Christmas Eve – Ha!

Right, I’m off to find me a pair of ice skates so I can get to work in style this week!

  1. This is totally adorable!! Love the leaf garland the stocking is hanging from and the touch of lace is lovely. Glad you enjoyed your week off. -18 I can do without though LOL! Keep warm 🙂

  2. This is gorgeous Aimes – makes me feel so cosy and Christmassy. Well done you on the Christmas cards though – hey, so everyone will get a pack of chewing gum and barbecue coals as their present – but at least they get to spend it with your fabulous self ;D

  3. Perfect card! Love the non-traditional holiday colors. And it is vintage! At least you have your cards made. I'm just starting on mine. So sorry to hear on the news about your snowy, wintery weather. It will look pretty for Christmas though. Keep warm!
