Hello!
Welcome to a fabby new challenge here on A Passion for Papertrey!
We’ve got only one question to ask you for this fortnight’s challenge:
If the answer to that is ‘yes’ then it’s time to get inky and join in the fun because this fortnight anything goes! Yup, that’s right, we’re making the most of the summer care-free spirit and asking you just to be creative and create anything! Cards, treat boxes, tags, you name it!
I opted for a card (surprise, surprise!)
I’m not normally one for Berry Sorbet but I do like it paired with Kraft (mind you, I think I could say that about any colour!)
Card Deets
{You make my heart Sing}
Stamps: Bird Watching (Papertrey Ink)/Hearts (Amuse Stamps)
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Berry Sorbet (Papertrey Ink)
Cardstock: Kraft base (craft supply)/Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush (Papertrey Ink)
Accessories: Chompy! (Corner Chomper – We R Memory Keepers)/Victorian Lace Border Die (Papertrey Ink)/Cuttlebug
Over to Caryn…
I love this fortnight’s theme – can’t wait to see the huge variety of cards and creations I expect we’re going to get – especially after we had such a bumper number of entries to our last challenge!! Thanks everyone for playing along.
Now to my sample. I recently received my order which I made on 23rd July and which included the Stamp-a-faire exclusive set – Iconic Images. What can I say – I LURVE this set. It’s so different from any other set I have from PTI and I just can’t put it down!!
Stamps: Iconic Images, Everyday Classics, Label Basics.
Ink: Sweet Blush, Dark Chocolate,
Cardstock: Vintage Cream, Sweet Blush
Other: Sweet blush satin ribbon, Angles label die, Score Pal.
I just love the combination of Vintage Cream, Sweet Blush and Dark Chocolate – it gives such a lovely vintagey feel when you put them together.
Over to Kate:
“I was feeling rather mojo-less when I sat down to make my card. So I decided to use a few challenges to try and kick-start it again. I chose two challenges, a Case Study challenge and Play Date challenge (all details are on my blog) – and came up with this. Now I’m not too sure about the pink, but I was trying to stick to the challenge colours! I did, however, really enjoy inking up my Beautiful Blooms set – one of the first PTI sets I ever bought!”

So now it’s time for you to get your own PTI supplies out and get inky with us ๐ Need more encouragement? Well one randomly selected European Peeps could get their inky mitts on this:
* All entries must contain at least one PTI product to qualify (please state what is PTI as sometimes it’s hard to see :D)
* All entries must be newly created (well, new to Blogland anyways!)
* To enter, use our inlinkz thingy at the bottom of this post. Please leave the correct URL for your entry post and not just your generic blog address! If you’re having problems then just leave a comment with a link to your post featuring the project on your blog or online gallery.
* Worldwide entries are more than welcome to share the inspiration and can be in with a chance of being a Top 3 PTI Passionista, but unfortunately prizes can only be shipped within Europe!
* Challenge closes on Monday, September 5th 2011 at 9.00am GMT
* As well as a randomly picked winner, we’ll select the top three creations we like the most and feature them on the Blog. The top three PTI Passionistas will have chance to display a Top 3 Passionista Blinkie on their own blog.
Have fun and create whatever you feel like! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
