Winners!

Hey!

It’s a day late, the summer holidays are keeping me busier than I’d planned, but I’m here with the winners from our previous Birthday Challenge.

We were overwhelmed with the amount of entries and stunning cards we saw, thank you so much to all who joined in the fun with us! 🙂

So, without further ado, it’s time to draw the random winner of a Papertrey Ink $5 gift certificate:

winnerNumber 16 is lucky for Jean! Congrats Jean! Pop us an email and we’ll get that $5 gift certificate on its way to you. 🙂

And now for our Top 3 PTI Passionistas. With such a high level of entries, each one of which worthy of being a top 3, it made it super tough to narrow the field down to just three entries. However, after much ooohing and ahhhing we’ve selected the following:SueWe loved Sue’s stamping on this birthday card! So fun and bright!

JanetJanet’s super trendy, collage-style birthday card is fabulous in design and rocks the CAS collage look.

Betty

And who said collage style had to remain CAS? Betty had our jaws hitting the keyboard with this stunning birthday card. So much attention to detail!

Congrats to our Top 3 PTI Passionistas! Please feel free to grab a blinkie to blink with pride on your blog here.

Seeing as we’re a day late posting the winners, we’ll post our new challenge tomorrow. I hope you can join us then! 🙂

Hey!

Aimes here: back and ready to announce the winners of our previous Black and White challenge.

So Mr Random.org thingy-me-bob has awarded a $5 PTI gift certificate to:

(drumroll please)….

Winner

Which means that Jean is our winner! Congrats, Jean! Pop us an email (see the ‘contact us’ thingy at the top) and we’ll get your gift certificate sorted for you.

It’s always a toughie, but a Top 3 has to be chosen and we decided upon (in no particular order)

JEAN

Jean: Lucky winner of our challenge AND a Top 3! Well, how could we resist this card – just about as catchy as the song itself and we *love* the use of a phone for the letter ‘C’. So very clever!

SUZANNE

Suzanne’s take on the popular chalkboard technique left us itching to ink up and try this out for ourselves. We love that this is a one layered card too – so much detail and depth on a single sheet of cardstock!

IMKE

Imke rocked the trendy houndstooth and mix of patterns on this fun card. The use of twine for the telephone wire is simply adorable too!

Congrats, ladies! Feel free to grab the code for the Top 3 blinkie to blink with pride on your blogeroos.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined in the fun with us. We’d *love* for you to join us for our next challenge which starts tomorrow *wink*!

Winners and Blinkies!

Hello and Happy New Year from us at A Passion for Papertrey! To celebrate the start of the year we’ve finally grabbed a spare moment to get our blinkies updated! Please feel free to grab the blinkies here and replace the ones you may have from our old site.

It’s been an extremely busy time of year, so we’re tying up the loose ends of 2012 before kicking off 2013 with a new challenge next Tuesday (stay tuned!). Sorting our email system out has been top of the list – if you are still waiting for a prize from a previous challenge and haven’t heard from us, please let us know. As far as we know, we’re up to date or in the process of corresponding with winners.

Another loose end to tie up is picking a winner from our Christmas Challenge so do your thing Random.Org:

winnerThe winner of a Papertery Ink $5 Gift Certificate is Nancy! Congrats Nancy! Pop us an email and we’ll get that gift certificate sent to you.

Seems like a lot of us were digging into our PTI supplies for the season which made it an extremely tough decision to narrow it down to just a Top 3 but we finally decided on the following:

stempelomi

Stempelomi – what a fabulous use for strips of patterned paper with super stitching, and who can resist those sweet little bells?! Such a lovely, jingly card!

KimKim – oh what a magical card! We love the use of buttons, the sparkles and the delicate colour scheme that make for stunning snowflakes!

LeeLee – really did send holiday joy with this pillow box and coordinating mini-card! What recipient wouldn’t love a present packaged and presented so perfectly?!

Congrats, ladies! Feel free to grab the code on the ‘Grab a Blinkie’ page at the top of our blog and blink with pride!

We’ll be back next week with the winners of our Be Inspired Challenge and a shiny new challenge too – can’t wait!

Winners!

Hey!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us with our last challenge, Whatever the Weather. We loved seeing how the weather inspired your creations, no matter what the weather was like outside!

It’s time to pick a winner so do you thing, Mr.Random thingy-me-bob!

Here are your random numbers:

Number 8 is the lucky number for Sandie! Congrats! Email us at apassionforpapertrey(at)yahoo(dot)com with your postal addy and we’ll get that prize out to ya!

For our Top 3 PTI Passionistas we were truly spoilt for choice! We finally decided upon the following:

We immediately fell in love with Bee’s ultra-trendy chevron sunshine! We also loved that she used a fillable frame stamp as a cloud too – what a way to stretch those supplies!

Micholla had us wanting snow to appear more than sunshine with those beautifully stamped snowflakes. It might be May, but if we had these CAS beauties to hand out at Christmas, we’d be counting down the days!

Jenny’s super sweet card would brighten up anyone’s day! We loved the literal  ‘pocket of sunshine’ and her fabulous stitching and embossing add so much texture!

Congrats ladies! Now we’re having technical problems with our Top 3 Blinkie right now…it’s decided to be naughty. If you send us an email then we’ll send you the code once we fix it.

Thanks so much to everyone who joined in our challenge – we’ll be back real soon with a new one!

A Winner…

Hey!

Whoops – it’s Tuesday already? What happened to Monday?! Seems like the days are zooming by on my Easter break and I’m a bit late posting a winner for our previous ‘House and Home’ challenge – sorry!

I won’t keep you any longer – the winner of a sweet PTI stamp set is:

Here are your random numbers:

Which is Angélique! Congrats Angélique! Email us your postal addy with the subject of your email as ‘winner’ and we’ll get that prize out to ya!

And now for our Top 3. Well firstly, thank you to everyone who managed to enter regardless of the fact that I forgot to put a linky thingy at the bottom of the challenge post (trust me, these last two weeks have been manic!) and apologies that we haven’t had time to get around you all. We really appreciate your entries and these 3 entries really stood out to us:

We loved Emma’s use of those sweet birdhouses as a home for this fabulous, soft and pretty card!
Angélique kept it beautifully CAS with her card as well as incorporating a lovely, fresh colour combo!
Shannon packed a punch with her lamps with this clever design that coordinates perfectly with the punny sentiment!

Congrats ladies! If you would like a blinkie to blink with pride as a Top 3 PTI Passionista then pop us an email with ‘Blinkie‘ as your subject!

Thanks once again to everyone who participates and joins in the inky fun with us on A Passion for Papertrey! I hope you can stay tuned for our new challenge that will be ‘knocking’ around here very soon *wink*

A Winner (Finally!)

Hello and happy Shrove Tuesday! I’m so sorry that we’ve been busy flipping and scoffin‘ pancakes that our winners post is a bit late! *wink*

Thank you to everyone who joined us with our love for stripes; we loved your creative approaches to stripes – from paper piecing stripy paper, to creating your own stripes with stamps – genius!

Well enough babbling as we’re late revealing a winner already!

Do your thing, Random.org:

Here are your random numbers:

12

Timestamp: 2012-02-21 22:27:47 UTC

Number 12 means that Karen M is our winner! Congrats, Karen! Email us your postal addy to apassionforpapertrey(at)yahoo(dot)com with the subject Winner, and we’ll get your prize out to ya!

And now for our Top 3. Well I know we say it every time, but it really was tough to narrow it down to just 3; not only due to the fabulous amount of entries we had, but also due to all of the different ways in which you all so cleverly incorporated stripes! After much deliberation, we decided on the following:

We loved Sue’s creative approach to stripes by using a scalloped border pattern! Not only that – but the fun colour combo certainly gives this card some oomph as well! 🙂

Karen’s sweetly paper-pieced striped houses gave us that warm, homely feeling that the card intends to do. We love the mix of both straight lines and chevron lines – rocking the lines at both angles!

Finally we totally fell for Jenny’s striped tea-pot! So sweet! And not only that – but Jenny also cleverly incorporated stripes twice more by paper-piecing a fabulous gingham-style tablecloth for that sweet teapot and using the linen and canvas impression plate for the background to compliment the tablecloth!

Congrats, ladies! If you haven’t got one already, drop us an email with the subject Winner for a Top 3 blinkie to blink with pride on your blog!

Now due to the late nature of this post – our challenge is going to schedule a day later too. Stay tuned tomorrow to find out what it is…!
